The Workshop was created out of Elijah’s love for learning and creating. There were projects he wanted to do but was limited by his access to knowledge and tools. Elijah saw the benefit of tool sharing as a business model and soon learned about tool libraries and their affects on communities. The potential for what a tool library could become inspired him to create The Workshop.
Elijah’s goal for The Workshop is to be a place that knows no barriers. Whatever project, whatever tool, Elijah wants people to have a place they can access the tools and information to meet their needs. Elijah’s plans for The Workshop include makerspaces, classes, and community projects. He wants The Workshop to be a place that communities can come together around.
